Autoglym Aqua dry shammy?

Car  PH2 172
I brought a Autoglym shammy a few weeks back and used it and found it didnt dry of the water like my old crapy shammy did is there a way to make the autoglym shammy better heard something about a bucket and dirty water but wasnt sure any ideas?

I use them on the daily drive 306 and for wheels and arches.

They are crap for the first few uses, but suck up water well after the second or third use.

For bodywork on car you car about get a drying towel.

What a meguirs towel iv got one but its a bit fuked as iv used it on my wheels and all the shitty bits are they better than shammyes then
