Auxillary belt too close to pulley

Here's a photo of my aux belt showing markings on it where it rubs between the tensioner and the pulley. Is is because the is pulley fooked?

Mine was like this, the root cause was the power steering pump putting to much straine on the belt which was causing the tensioner to push up in the belt. it could also be a ceased tensioner. Your aux belt will need changing now as its damaged.

I'd be stripping it down and inspecting each pulley,it could be the tensioner that is seized like "the fatty" said. Never seen that happen before,but i defo wouldn't be running her in that condition mate.

it will either be the belt is too short (is it a genuine belt?) or the tensioner is seized

Here's a tip from personal experience of that picture, do not drive her, change the belt and see what the problem could be, same thing happend to mine I left it and then the belt decided to wrap around my crank pulley and well...... You can imagine!

All sorted. Got my tensioner tool and new belt kit - thanks Dan@519. My current belt wasn't on right. 'Tis now.
