AV Set up help

Guys/Gals,

Just bought a Sony KDL 40v3000 (3 HDMI), Sony RHT G800 (3 HDMI)

Pioneer Upscaling DVD PLayer (HDMI out)

Wanted to know the best way of connecting all of this including a wii.

Do I need all HDMI cables ie 1 from DVD to TV

one from TV to Speakers

one from DVD to Speakers and component from wii to TV?

hdmi from dvd to tv stand then hdmi from stand to tv

component from wii to tv will have to just have stereo for that or maybe optical in

it uses the hmi cable from the stand to the tv the hdmi ports in the stand are like a hub it has 2 down stream ports and one upstream

I found i got a better pic via RGB than HDMI with my upscaler, though i suppose its not upscaling anymore.

you need one for evry hdmi device so one for dvd and one for tv thats it

Though HDMI is one way only?

Would I need an HDMI from TV to stand for sound? i.e TV out to Stand in.

So that would be DVD out to stand in (HDMI)
Stand out to TV in (HDMI)
TV out to Stand in.
Wii to TV Component and Optical for sound?

no you use the supplied optical cable for that tv optical out stand optical tv in
page 13 of the manual
