Made a beauti on photoshop with a few layers...i've flattened the image and saved to jpeg with stupidly low quality but its still bigger than 11kb.

if i make the quality any less it looks like a chuffing scene out of a lego film.

how does everyone have such high quality avatars??

Use save for web option.

Use the 'Quality:' slider until you get to the required size (bottom left corner)

when saving as a jpeg i still get the quality slider - i can put it to "1" "lowest" and it will still be too big and it just looks like a gash.

Save it as like 8.

Then open that file and do it again.

Think the place where i began to fail happened to be when i was using 20+ layers actually and i was constantly saving it as a jpg.

Gif'd the b**ch and its 8kb...merci, i can continue now
