b and m quickshift, need shifty replies please

i got a preassembled kit, so i thought it was a case of dropping the old housing out and the new one in, what do i do with reverse?
obviously the renault kit has the collar which lifts up the reverse gear selector cable, but i canot see anyway of attatching this to the bandm kit, what do i do???
ps its a 2003 mk2 172

erm 172's don't have any cables for reverse mate

are you sure you have the correct B&M??

B&M's for 172's have a srpung loaded sleeve that you have to lift up to select reverse(there's a bit of plastic the collar slides over when you lift it up)
