Tommy has sent me the AFR log that Ktec say was from his final power run.
Ive made it into a graph to make it easier to see.
It has got a lot of the same traits that Mike has described, but not as severe this time.
Its too lean in places and then at the top end goes very rich.
Far from ideal, I dont think any mapper will be able to give a good explanation of why you would want it to drop to just over 12.5 at 3500rpm and then be back up at nearly 14 at 5200rpm.
Buts its roughly in the right ballpark, just looks like not enough time was spent on it TBH, if I had to do a rush job mapping a car to get it into roughly the right place but without enough time to do properly, thats pretty much exactly how it would look I suspect.
Which does tie in with the fact that Tommy said that it was all done a lot quicker than he was told it would be apparently.
So should they be sending that out of the door as "finished"? I would argue not TBH
But I would say that although I think that it is more than a bit sloppy that it is NOT actually bad enough to be considered dangerous IMHO, he's definately going to be losing a bit of power in places, but it shouldnt actually wreck his engine which is what some of the others appear to have done.
Do remember though that the AFR is only part of the story Mikes main criticism (and Paul @ RS Tuning found the same on a 200 that came to him with a ktec map) was over the ignition anyway not the fuelling on Kyles car even though the fuelling was awful on Kyles, its this excess ignition (which cant be seen on the logs Ktec are supplying) which is a really dangerous issue.
