Balljoint ball ache.

Car  Saab 93 Aero Wagon
Did my drivers side lower arm about a year ago...should have done the pair but i was being cheap at the time. Decided its time to do the passenger side now but also going to do Powerflex wishbone bushes at the same time.

I know its an oft repeated question but can anyone confirm whether the Scenic balljoints you can buy separately actually fit the 172/182?
Only i don't see the point shelling out for a whole new lower arm if im ditching the OE bushes anyway!

You can get the ball joint on it's own, is it really necessary to replace ball joints in pairs?

Scenic is correct but need drilling out 2mm. Go to a local motor factors, euro car parts do them for £13

Local motor parts place can get ball joints with 12mm holes, standard size is 10mm (the ones they stock)

Yea Euro and my local could.

It doesn't matter if you replace one or two at the same time, just wait for next one to fail!
