Bangs and Rattles - Clio's in General

I see everyone says noises and creeks and rattles are all normal and to be fully expected in clios!?

I can honestly say mine (172 Cup) on 46k is solid and silent, even with the super stiff suspension setup.

Only rattle I currently have is the Cat/Mani bolt on heat shield over 4k.

Does this mean mines been super glued and welded together to stop noises :rasp: or just a lucky one?

Your time will come, obviously hasnt been driven hard enough by the previous owner. However my previous owner put a drive shaft through the gearbox so it rattles like my nans knee's, gf says she doesnt feel safe in it anymore!

Hang on, it's solid and silent... but has a rattle from the heat shield above 4,000 revs?

Surely that isn't solid, or silent then?

Mine wasnt to bad when I bought it only 4months ago.
I found the most annoying rattle somewhere in the rear, its driving me nuts!

I've informed her theres far more to do in the back other than just sit there, but she wasn't interested in any of my suggestion!

Am sorting the bolt out on saturday, waiting on the new ktec kit coming.

Sound as a pound otherwise, the RAF track day in Oct will loosen her up lol
