Battery and Stop light blinking

After starting my car the battery and stop light flash really quickly and then after a bit stay on constant. Looks like an intermittent connection or something. Does anyone have any ideas where to start looking or if it is something else causing the problem. Thanks

I thought it might be this but the battery is charging at 14.5 volts when the car is running. Any other ideas with what I can check??

If your alternator seized surely your battery would be sat at a voltage less than 12 volts. seeing that mine is at 14.5 volts is this not a good indication that the battery is being charged?? i.e the alternator is working??

Check there's no loose connections on the alternator to battery then so when you go over a bump they shake and cause it to throw up the lights

I didn't see that you'd checked the battery. Just saying that when my alternator seized the lights came.on the dash.
