Battery Prob, Help Please!

  Was a Clio 1.8 16v

Story so far: Yesterday waiting for a lorry to wheel spin up a slope for about 2 minutes. Tryed to move off when it managed to grip, and realised the engine wasnt on. So turned the ignition over and was fine till it cut out 10 seconds later. Managed to park it up with engine sounding unhealthy. Few hours later came out and cleared the grill of snow and got home from work as if nothing had happened.

Today on way to work engine started to die again, so i gave it some revs but the battery light was flickering and ABS for some reason. Then after work came home with-out any trouble.

Whats WRONG? New battery? Ive checked connections with alternator. PLEASE HELP. Cheers.

think youd be best taking it to an auto electriction tomoz mate your fan belt may be to tight or it could be the alternator im not an expert tho so get it looked at

Nahh. Think its just electrical connections are damp from snow being stuffed in the grill.

Ive disconnected most of the wires and dosed them in WD40, everthings fine now, touch wood. :devilish:
