Battery Problem?

Another issue I have now :S is when I turn my sidelights or main lights on the display on my clock, dials radio etc go dim (and the brightness is on full) then when I turn the lights off the dash lights etc go back to normal brightness. Any ideas on this. At first I though maybe the battery was faulty but it is only a year or so old and have had it tested recently and is fine.

This problem has only started happening since I have been having problems with my clutch (see my clucth problem post). I know it is probably a hugh coincidence but any help would be very much appreciated.

Mine does this as well. I mainly notice it on the clock display. Only dims a little bit though. I thought it was normal for Clios, not a fault.

Yeah, mine does exactly the same, and I'm sure my previous Clio did it as well.

it happens with most if not all cars, well all cars iv had or worked on have done this

Cheers all. I have never noticed this before but maybe I am expecting to find faults as have had a few all at once!
