battery relocation?? What's needed?

you will need a clamp/strap some way of holding the battery in position. Im guessing its going in the boot? you need to get hold of some new longer -+ leads as well and that about it for what you will need.
If you going in boot i would personally first rip battery out and get rid of the old casing and clamps as will be no point them being in bonnet if this is a permanent thing. Next find where the battery is going and find out how you will clamp/hold it down, i would get hold of a strap and just bolt it to the car with 2 small bolts just make sure its tight. Then you can get you +- wires from your engine bay and attach new ones and run them down the car to the battery and attach. i think you can just run the + cable down then just get a short - cable and attach it to shell of the car as ground.

Wire that is rated for more than the alternator can put out continuously.
Fused (right next to the battery)
Battery box, Don't f**k about, put it in a proper box, and bare in mind, It needs to be vented really.
Make sure the earths at both ends are perfect and clean.
Its also a good time to put a kill switch in line, saves battery, and in the event of a crash or that, you can kill it instantly.

Yes agree with kill switch and properly made box if its for a track car, what i said works but i did not do it for track was for extra power for my subs and was bolted down hidden.
