Battery retaining clamp

I removed my battery a couple of weeks ago when changing my gearbox oil for ease of access! When I removed the retaining clamp the bolt that holds it in place sheared off and is now stuck so I can't replace the clamp. My MOT is due next month and as they check for security of the battery I need to sort it. Anyone got any ideas or had this happen before?

Also my battery seems to encroach on the intake pipe behind the headlight to the airbox. Is this normal?
