Battlefield 2 Score List Icons

Was playing it the other day and i dont understand the icons on the score list.

In order:

A cup which i assume is points

A sqaure thing which i have no idea what it means but i never ever get a + score on it

A Crosshair which i assume is kills

A Skull which i assume is deaths

What is the square thing?

Also can badges and medals only be unlocked online?

heres a page that tells you how to get the badges, medals etc, i too dont know what that icon is, think the rest you are right about. probably in manual or readme but im too lazy too look.

cheers, i found the medals on some BF2 geek site..

Also managed to get an award some how

The icon seems to have a Medic, Spanner and some other symbols on it so maybe its points for being them people :S

Left is the Total. (Cup)
2nd is Team Points. (Box/medic/thingy)
3rd is amount of Kills. (Crosshairs)
Right is amount of Deaths. (Skull)

For each kill you get 2 points, 1 for a assist.
Team points are capturing things, healing, reviving, supplying, repairing, etc.

I can only play one game at a time at the moment for some reason...

the game spacs out when the second game loads and then my computer restarts.

I think the square is for team points awarded for things like healing/fixing/taking flags/defending flags etc like someone else has said.

Is there many Bf2'ers on this forum?

yes they are dedicated ranked servers, Wargasm is a standard Battlefield 2 40 player and Carnage is a Special Forces 30 player server. they are full most evenings from about 7ish.
