BB or K-Tec

  Skoda Fabia vRS

im gettin a GTT conversion done fairly soon an ill be needin a few bits for the engine before it goes in, and obviously a few bits and bobs after aswell !

so, who has the best stuff, are they the same

BB prices are very good, esp on the bargains they have at the moment !

what do you all think ?

ktec......that exhaust manifold! sex

personal pref though........thats just me, they are closer too...

BB tuning everytime. There 1.8 16v turbo engine is a work of art and goes like a fooking rocket ship. Nothing against KTEC but andy at BB knows his stuff and explained why they do things different than other peoples.

Phone up Andy at BB and talk to him. Then have been tuning cars for years and he will offer good advice and will not try the hard sell.

David at k-tec was at GTTuning for years before setting up k-tec so hes hardly a novice..

They keep up to date unlike bb tuning, quick to respond to demand, they are admittedly expensive but everything they have is of excellent quality. Compare their websites, bb tunings is a joke!

I am strongly thinking about the GTT conversion, just wondering though. If I do get the conversion and then an exhaust, do I get the clio one, or the R5 one? The bore will be a match for the R5 but the fitment to the car might be wrong. I was thinking of the KTEC beastie, so they could probably do an imalgamation. But just wondering that all. Anyone know?

well comparing prices, if i ordered everythin i want from BB rather than K-Tec, ill probably save myself £100+ so i think ill go with BB

Ktec are only more expensive than BB for some parts. They told me yesterday that the expected price of there turbo conversion will be around £1000 cheaper than BB.

Rob, did you ever fit that k-tec stainless front grill ? cause I was gonna order one if it wasnt too hard to fit.

No i didnt as ive decided to keep it standard for insurance reason.

PM me if your interested, ill give money off obviously, being the god that i am.

Go with Co-Op they dont charge for exterior mods. That also goes as far as exhausts so I have been told.

Yeah but im still in my first year of road driving so i get screwed wherever i go, its just by how much, im with directline who were the cheapest.

Well Co-Op werent the cheapest. But after Tesco (who I was with) started screwing with me with my alloys. I didnt have them on, I told them this, but I wanted a qoute with them on. They did it, then told me I had to pay for them now. I said I didnt have them on, but they said that once it was inputted onto the system it couldnt go back. So I paid the extra £10 for the last 3 days with them. Got the money back after writing a letter to them. But because they were nonses about it I took my buisness somewhere else.
