been busy this evening.

havnt got any pics but tonite i have managed to change the 172 ph1 gearstick to the ph2 172 gearstick(complete unit)

also lowered the front seat onto washers.

fit a new ball joint,a pair of chamber bolts, new front shocks and clean the front exhaust joint that was blowing.....

Ph1 gearnobs are so much nicer to use than ph2's. Except when its cold because the ph1's get really really cold.

The reason for changing was the gaitor underneath was broken so gearsticvk had loads of play.
and yes the ph1 gearknob gets far to cold and bloody hot if in the sun.
