Belkin Wireless Router, Help!

Ok just bought the belkin wireless router from P.C World. Trying to set it up and i have got to the point where it says:

"Plug the power supplys small connector into the gray port on the router, and then plug the power supply into the socket"

Now when i go to put the connector into the router it wont physically fit, the connector is too small to fit into the port?!!

Has anyone else had this problem? Please help

so your saying the actual jack plug wont fit into the router that connects to the mains adapter?

it going in the right hole?

other than that you must have the wrong adapter in there, take it back
