belt confusion!

Im looking through listings of 172s and im wondering when the belts need doing.

Basically the one im looking at has done 59k miles and the belt was done on 47k so only 12 thousand miles ago,however it was done late 2006 so about 3 years ago,will it need a new belt or not?
