best brake fluid to go for

I've recently bought good-ridge lines and wanting to change the brake fluid.. what are you guys used and tested!

bought some ht leads of a chap last night he said to stay with dot 4 not dot 5..
What brand gives the best results

If it's road use any DOT 5.1 would be fine, make sure you buy enough to properly flush the old stuff out obviously.

Do you need Clip to bleed the ABS pump??

The car is 90% for track may just use on the roads every so often.
Am running a cup so no abs for me anyway

I've always used Tesco momentum in my performance cars and never had an issue and it's 99 octane to which most other premium fuels are only 97-98 apart from shell nitro I think which is near 10p a litre more expensive.

i only use v-power / v-power nitro.. Has been tested couple time by 5th gear and v-power always came out on top
been using it on and of for 10 odd years depending on car i've got and even used v-power diesel

I`ll stick with the momentum then.
It does smell similar to the stuff (thinners?) the quick TZ boys used ,and made my eyes smart if I did not get to the front of the collection area early in my club racing days.
