When does the new RS (or wahtever the new shape clio sport is called) come out?

What i was interested in was how much do you think I will beable to pick up a brand new 182 for when the newer version comes out? im assuming they will be reduced to clear!

+ what are the best deals you guys have had on your 182's up untill now?

There wont be hardly any lying around new/pre reg. I know Arnold Clark is down to single digits on its pre-reg'd 182s.

Bets deal I found was pre-regd 55. Recaro and CD changer options 12.5k.

Found a trophy with 4k on clock for 12k. 05plate.

there are ltd stocks left, but recaro option is NOT available WITH cd changer, due to lack of space under the seats.

we're selling 05 delivery mile 182 cups (some with recaros) for 11499.

When i said there will be hardly any lying around I meant when the new RS comes out. I know how long it took me to search for mine and new RS isnt out yet!!

Yeah... i got mine on the road for 11,600 but it didnt have an alarm. So decided to get a Cobra cat 1 with level reference monitor installed independently.

Motorpoint apparently take the alarm off and then charge you to put it on again... WTF !!!. Money making scam i think.

What is the book price straight from Renault?
Plus what are differances from the 182 and the cup

Cup is lighter, lower spec interior but with better steering geometry+ suspension, additional spoilers front and rear and anthracite alloys.

Normal 182 adds climate control, half leather interior, better CD, split folding rear seats, side airbags I think and some other bits. With the 182 you can have the cup handling pack (incl. anthracite alloys) and cup spoiler packs as options.

I went for the 182 with cup handling pack, marginally slower due to extra weight but difference ishalf of feck all.

If I buy a 2nd hand car, say an 05 plate, is it easy to carry on the waranty?
Is it 3years you get from new?

There are 2 cup packs (handling and spoilers).

Yep, 3 yrs from new. I think the warranty just transfers providing service history is maintained.

Re: list price, I went in with the "What Car" target price (about £12,700 I think, though I can't remember for sure). That's about what I paid + the extra £250 for metallic and £275 I think for cup handling pack. Got a reasonably good trade in price too on my part ex.

The sales bloke was really good, it's just the rest of the muppets in the dealership I have a problem with!

The warranty is 3yrs 60000 mls from new, regardless of ownership. all provided the correct service intervals are maintained. You can take the car to any renault dealer in the uk.

My quote was will bell, who i thought where pretty good, there where the cheapest by far on my valver!

I've had it for over a month now... I was told it was a show room car and I'm the first owner on the v5 doc. They roled it out of the show room for the launch of the new clio so they were desperate to get rid. I pounched for it as it was the spec I wanted too. Only had 11 miles on the clock but I suppose that thats easy to reset to zero.

Gave the car a good checking over when picking up and made sure it had everything, splitter, one touch, alarm and all the documents.

Great dealership and customer service and would recommend them to everybody.

Haven't had any problems touch wood...

I have it on good authority that the car I bought was in the showroom for 4 weeks prior to me buying it. It was wheeled out 2 days before they launched the new clio.

Im happy with the car... so thats the main thing!

Duno about the clocking thing, maybe someone can answer that one...

I think he's saying either:

(a) if the 11 miles is false, you cars been clocked [unlikely]
(b) if the 11 miles is genuine, why would you even consider resetting it (a.k.a "clocking")

cool cheers guys, i think I will run the valver thu winter, pay off a few debts then look at getting a 182 in feb when i turn 20, and get myself in moor debt, hey it's worth it!!

I can vouch it was in the showroom as I thought long hard about that one. You can tell when a car is nearly new or brand new. As I said they would have pre-regd it for me as I was squizing for a good deal, but we £300 off in the end.

No regrets cos I love me inferno.
