Best exhaust joint

What's the best exhaust joint?

I currently have a blowing Sleve joint I'm thinking of changing to maybe a v band but I'm unsure.

Ideas? Experiences?

Or should I stick with Sleve and whack done paste on there?

V band mate. That's what I've got on my centre section. It splits easier than a sleeve joint should the need arise and it also requires no gasket. Win win in my eyes.

Downsides are welding it in if you can't do it yourself.

Sleeve, though I had no blowing. V band's do look smarter tbh.

There welded to the pipe bud.

Admittedly the welding isn't great underneath but I the the right shape and it doesn't leak so I'm happy.

It's better than what long life did for me anyway lol

This is a 2.5" v band flange and they do a 3" one as well. I think for £20 it represents good vfm.

That one has an inbuilt lip. Might get that one then
