Best exhaust system to get?

Car  Titanium 182 & 306 Diesel
I already have an aftermarket jap system on my car well I thought it was a full system its a bodge job:mad: its just welded on the end of the standard system were the rear boxes are too heavy which on closer inspection has snapped one of the brackets and cracked the middle box:mad:

All in all took it back to Renault and they are putting a standard system on for me free of charge as its covered under the warranty:rasp:

this is on a 182 btw

So i'm either going to keep it standard or get a proper system properly fitted;)

no way your getting it re-fitted for free you must have taken it up the arse to get it for free.

good on you though.

Well i bought the car like that and had a few problems with the exhaust to start with 'which was strengthened at renault' apparently but because it has gone again! they have booked it in the get the standard system fitted.

Problem is I've got £500 in a few weeks so was thinking of getting another proper system! or should I get something else with my cash?

Didnt have to do anything went in on saturday morning and then they booked it in for the tuesday.....

Was thinking grooved brake discs and pads and an induction kit and leaving the exhaust system standard...

i have had my btb system on for a few weeks now and the quality of the system and the fit is perfect, its not too loud so doesnt draw attention and tailpipes look just right, gets my vote.

hi got a 182 in the same kinda situation looking at a new exhaust bbpt have got a system does ne body know ehat they are like

no idea what the BBPT system is like, I had 2 of their decats though and both actually fell apart... lol.

I've got the GDI system on mine and their will be another group buy due to the popularity and success of the last one. Quality is very very good, only 88db's and very reasonably priced for what it is.

cheers mate will look out for that any idea what it will sound and run like without the centre section on the GDI

If Renault are putting a brand new system on , i'd get some wear out off it before you buy a new one! ( unless you have pot's of money ) Lol

Ive just orderd the 182 BTB system , should be here this week!

leon

no mate i mean buy the system but instead of using the GDI centre section use a streight through pipe

i've had k-tec,magnex and powerflow. magnex seems best quality but its heavy im trying a yozza race system in 2 weeks purely for the weight and noise though
