Best front disc and pad combo??

Its time for new discs and pads for the front of my 172 cup, just wondering what people think is the best combo of discs and pads. I can be a touch heavy on the brakes (ask joebristolgym). so dont want something that will easily fade, but then i am on a budget as i have not long brought a house.

From what Ive read, the grooved arent significantly better, but If you can afford it then yes.

I have the Max (Grooved Disks) but that is mainly for looks with me

theres nothing in it really with discs. just get some standard ones as they are dirt cheap and some DS2500's
