Best linux live cd?

  185lb/ft dCi
Whats the best for compatibility with devices? I normally use auditor & backtrack and it works fine but I came to get some files off a Dell system the other day and it wouldn't load up, the on screen text was out of place too so I think it must of been something to do with the onboard dell gpu.

any recommendations guys?

Ubuntu/Kubuntu everything apart from wireless worked out the box on 4-5 systems.. wireless took 10 seconds to fix thanks to great community support..

IIRC the new dell PC's that will be shipped with linux will be ubuntu ..

Well its a fully live CD so chuck it in the drive (after you've burned it) and it will boot up like a normal OS (not touching your existing OS) if you like it double click the install icon and follow instructions.

Note: the OS will run a lot slower as its running from CD, dont let that put you off ! once installed to the HD it runs schweet !

Don't go by looks, the default look isn't to everyone's taste but everything can be changed.

Here's my current:
