best panel filter?

hey

i dont know if this has been asked before but im going to be able to drive my 172 in just over a week and i wanted to get a nice panel filter because i hear the oem airbox is the best one to have so there is little point in shelling out 350 quid for a carbon maxogen one because im not to loaded at the mo

so yeah recommendations guys?

Probably the cheapest is the best, this one http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=2755 i think is a pipercross, and at £23 its the cheapest around i think.

any ideas on the cost of the ITG one? and also if i replace the panel filter with one of these aftermarket ones will it make a bit of difference to the performance or is it just one of those modifications that add a growl to the exhaust note? lol as most things are with RS' haha
