Best thing for removing SRP from black trim?

I let the £7.00 Pikeys loose on the Clio for the first time since May at the weekend.

The problem with a poor wash is that all of spattered on SRP is left showing on the black trims making them look grey.

I fancy a good cleaning session next week but want to do a proper job.

Any ideas?

This man speaketh the truth . All the trim products just mask any white marks , same with any oils . WD40 if your gonna go for a masking product gets my vote everytime . Removing with the rubber first then using WD40 is the best way i've found .

Some nice 'alternative' solutions here. Like it.

I'll buy myself the necessary & give it a go.

Cheers.

Use a pencil rubber, Rub hard to get most of the stuff off. Then fairly liquid and a toothbrush to clean the rest of it up. Should remove it all. If not... more hard work.

Then dress it.
