Best Tyres for my 172

Can any one please tell me wat are the best tyres for the front of my 172? Gone through 4 sets in 18 months and done 20,000 miles and thats just everyday driving, no trackdays. Got Conti sports on at the mo and they havent lasted at all. put on in Dec and edging aleady!!:S

Why not try some Eagle F1's- Michelin PE2's next?

all a matter of opinion what tyres are best. just make sure you get quality brand stuff. DONT get cheap tyres, steer clear of yokahama prada if they are just for the road.

imo pe2 & conti are good, expensive but you get wha you pay for

Currently evaluating the underated Avon ZV5's.

Not expensive but in no way cheap either. Days of paying £120 each for PE2's are gone for me!

what size wheels you running? if 16'' id stick with the contisports. I highly rate pe2s tho in a 15 out lasted by far (if not double) 15 avons zv's had some very grippy but died after about 9 months. So much that I just had 4x pe2's fitted for 216.

have these on my 106, epic in the wet and good in the dry probably better as a winter tyre. as gsd3 or toyo are slightly better in the dry.

best of best is potenza adrenaline. Almost behaves as semi-slick.

I had Toyo T1Rs all-round until I needed 2 front tyres for MOT - couldn't complain about them TBH

I've got Eagle F1s on the front now with the Toyo's on the back - seems to be much better grip now
