3 are fekkin useless. I've had it nearly a year and its probably worked a maximum of 20 minutes. Complete s**t. Thats all I've got to say on the matter.

t mobile is pretty good.. had mine 6 months! once youve got gd reception! works perfect! specially at work when u wanna play games lol

but yeah sometimes u can connec on dial up speeds, its just about tweaking the settings, on there, if u ring t mobile up with slow speeds, they tell u how to play about with settings.. comes in handy!

I just called BT, and within 3 days they had come out and set me up from scratch and Redtube was in full effect.

I work on a farm aswell so there was NO wires at all!!

good thinking Batman

tmobile or vodafone. If you can check coverage then do that first, but it should be ok for your area.

You may also want to keep personal + business mobile seperate. To stop funny hour phonecalls. However i will use the service as i want, e.g when i burnt my hand at 8pm doing a coil in the Vee

For the amount of use i imagine you'll need, i think it would get very pricey with the mobile ones. Aren't they ltd to 1gb per month?

Depends on the bandwidth, chances are unless you are VERY close to a 3G mast your speeds will be not great. Also due to limited bandwidth of a 3G mast you will get massive fluctuations during different times of the day.

Most of the USB sticks are made by the same manufacturer and are the same models rebranded, its down to the software usually.

Bang in your work postcode, fiddly to use and look for masts on the 2100 frequency, these are 3G masts, also shows the providers. Much more representative of actual coverage rather than the hypothetical maps shown by the providers.

Vodafone seems to be the best from me as well. 3 is hit and miss with coverage.. actually coverage for Vodafone for me in my area is crap though... can't even get 3G most of the time... only get that when im near Ipswich so just be aware.

You can check coverage with Vodafone here...

O2 PAYG - about £25 for the USB modem and then £2 a day when you want to use it. Perfect for occasional use.
