Rich i swear i've seen a thread saying 'first proper clean' before....;)

Looks fantastic mate....makes me feel down about mine as to my damage not being sorted yet.

Hope you get it sorted soon :(

This really is the first real polish the car has ever had maybe I should have titled the thread that!

Cheers for the comments all.

It took some time, and I did go a bit mad on the products  it's done know though.

Took double the time due to feeling rough after a couple of nights out which didnt help and slowed progress!

Stunning... Rich would you mind giving an overall run-down of the products you used to achieve that look, for those of us who haven't got half a clue and are in awe of your uber-cleaning abilities? :)

Most of the work was done by PC

Swirl Removal - Poorboys SSR 2.5, Light Cut Pad - A fairly abbrassive cutting polish.

Polish - Meguiars Speed Glaze 80, Polishing Pad - A very rich deep gloss polish that leaves an excellent finish.

Glazed - Cleakote Vanilla Moose Hand Glaze - Polishing Pad, Clearkote Red Machine Glaze. Add lots of oils onto the paint to give a real deep wet gloss.

Sealant - Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant. A very deep looking sealant that looks good on dark paints.

A few more details here.

Good choice, just get used to lot's of cleaning!

I remember going outside to clean my old black Saxo VTR every other day in the summers!! Worth every minute though.

Cheers Ted.

They take some cleaning though in Black, five mins left outside and you will already see the dust settling!
