Black 182, smashed windscreen. Bonnet catch failure?

I was driving up Sutton Road in Mansfield earlier and saw a black 182 with it's hazards on at the side of the road. Looked round as I drove past and saw the windscreen all smashed in and the owner looking at the bonnet/front of the car.

I felt bad for just driving past as there wasn't anyone else around so I did a lap of the housing estate and came back to see if you were alright, but you had already driven away by the time I got there.

Anyone on here? Didn't catch the reg.

My bonnet is as secure as could be... No way it's going to move on its own. ...

It'd a common problem, renault have recalled clios a few times for it. I had my last one replaced.

Got aero catches now though so no worries
