Black 197 - Renaultsport accessories

Hi.

Just signed up, I've been looking at a black 197 as a possible purchase very soon.

I like the renaultsport cup accessories, the front carbon effect splitter and the carbon effect sideskirts.

Does anyone have a picture of these on a black car? If not a picture on any car would be appreciated. The renault website only shows them at close up.

i fitted these to a 197 a while ago. Dont go for the sideskirts!!! they stick out loads and dont look like there fitted properly. PLus you have to drill to big holes in either side of the car!!
the front on its own looks good, you have to drill to big holes in that aswell, but it wont be as bad to fix if you took it off compared to the side holes!

Don't fancy having holes everywhere :S

Definately like the front splitter, makes it meaner and suppose being a black car if I did have holes it wouldn't be as noticeable, not overly fussed on the sideskirts so may just try to get the front splitter thrown in at the dealer as part of the deal

nice little spoiler aswell, although I was looking through the standard clio book last night and thought the optional sport one was nice and subtle, these should fit the 197 aswell?

Test drive tonight, can't wait, awesome insurance quote aswell so should hopefully have this during the week, good step up from my 75bhp C2

That looks far better than I expected on the black, even the sideskirts look good on there, good work funky munky

Test drive was a success last night, car drives very well, even when not beong pushed on, such a tight a lovely gearbox and the turn-in is exceptional. May have this bad boy purchased by Saturday

oh, and the car i've been testing has the glass ball type lights at the front but no washers, I thought these were xenons and came with the washers, unless the glass ball type thing can be had without washers?

That Nimbus looks lovely, although on that Elia spoiler, the brake light looks oddly huge in the pick from the back? Does it just go round the standard light?

Spoiler looks excellent to me, without it looks to plain and due to the 182's I am used to seeing them with one.

What I love about the 197 is the front wheel arches and that little vent thing, have no idea what its technically called but just reminds me of the Escort Cosworth.

Test drove was excellent on tuesday, my current little C2 had a service today, nothing at all wrong with it! So new owner picking it up tonight meaning i'll be off to the dealer in the morning to pick up my black 197
Can't wait!
