Black alloys

Wolfrace seem to be offering a LOT of black alloys on their website / eBay at the moment, but they still seem relatively rare on mod sites, Google images, and on the road.

Which type of car do they suit best? I have a racing green mk1 Clio - would they look naff - its hard to picture, and the Wolfrace 'similator' has limitations. On some of the few pics I've seen they look alright, esp on blk / white cars, but at other times the dark colour makes them look more like steels.

Also, would they be harder to maintain / repair? I imagine they would show minor kerbing damage more prominantly?
