Was it easy enough to fit? Does it make any weird noises? Thats one of the mods I need to do. I find the car is setup towards understeer at the moment. Never even had the back come out yet and thats with ditchfinders!

Yeh it was easy enough, i fit the brackets the wrong way round originally as you can see in the pics so it sat really low changed them now though, took around half hour to fit on a ramp. No noise from it but i probably wouldnt hear it anyway due to the exhaust and intake

few updates on this

havnt had the best start to the year with the car, was driving home from work one day and just lost all drive, turned out to be the circlip in the gearbox going wrong and ending up inside the gearbox. picked a new gearbox and got that fit, then found a leaking pas pipe so changed them and fitted new track rods, rod ends and powerflex black series bushes to the steering rack. Then on first drive after putting it back together, got a lovely rattle from the engine and then not long after the engine seized up took the engine out, stripped it done and found this

so bought another 172 to get the engine and then strip for bits. took the engine out, replaced timing belt kit, dephaser, aux belt kit, water pump, coolant, pas fluid and fit PTFE inlet gaskets then put that in mine, also put my battery in the boot and made a new induction kit while it was off the road and then got abit carried away with myself and ended up with this
