Blaupunkt lead for steering wheel stalk

I have this headunit:

Blaupunkt TravelPilot E Freestyler Navigation System

and currently the steering wheel stalk does not work.

Does anyone know where I can get the correct lead to make it work, or what lead it is that I need?

(Warren, do you know if the lead is there and just not plugged in, from when you fitted the parrot etc??)

Edit - It's not there theres adaptor - infact i wonder if the one i mistakenly ordered will fit yours???

what do you mean by that? as in its not a bluespot adaptor, they just sell it on from blaupunkt???

which one did you buy? and which headunit did yours not work with?

Might have misread the 1st comment which you aimed toward warren. If he had a lead installed ten there would be a seperate control box.

i'm pretty sure most have the same connections.

I bought this one:

I'm sure that will fit a 172 as the wiring was the same from 2001 - 2005 when they changed to a canbus type, which is why it didn't fit the trophy

EDIT: Yeah £50 quid. If mine fitted yours (provided i still have all the cables that is) i wouldn't want that much!!

I'll have to pull the headunit out and have a look whats behind. (have to locate some headunit keys as i aint got any......)

it says on this particular one when you click on the 'click here for additional fitting information' that it is for the pug 206 and 206gti........hmmm lol

i think ill have to take a pic of what ive got and see if it looks compatible with what youve got. if it does then we can go from there.

Lol yeah i noticed the Pug thing!!

Yes mate - i'll need a picture of the back of your stereo, and a picture of the cars original wiring, if it looks good then we can only give it a go.
