Hi my laptop keeps getting blue screen of death been to repair centre twice now 1st time had a new processor, when I had it back it did the same, took it back to them they told me the memory was not seated properly and it was all working fine, within 12 hours same thing happened. Before I take it back again any suggestion.

Is it over heating?
Anything you have installed that could be conflicting with drivers?
Are your drivers up to date/the correct drivers?
Whats the hash code of the BSOD?

Hopefully its one of those bluescreens that stays up a while (although im sure you can make windows leave it up until you reboot)

If it is take a picture or note down everything it says and post up here or google parts of it.

Fan does seem to come on very frequently and yes it is one of those blue screens that stay on til u reboot, it comes up with loads of numbers but mainly zero's ive goggled the whole line of numbers but no hits

Left Click on the Start button, Right Click My Computer and select Properties
Select the Advanced tab (Advanced system properties in Vista)
Under Startup and Recovery click on the Settings button
Under System failure, UNCHECK the Automatically restart option
Click OK in the Startup and Recovery window, Click OK in the System Properties window

To reboot once the BSOD occurs press Control + Alt + Del

Type / paste the error code into this thread.
It should look something like 0x00000007.
