got my CDA the other day and wanted to ask for opinions regarding the CAF setup

caf ends here (I chopped a bit at the end to sit better) -used the aluminum caf provided in the kit

as you see it goes near the headlight behind the grille. another angle:

and it sounds like this:

Should I route the caf elsewhere or leave it as it is?

and something strange: revin' it at idle the intake noise is quiet, unlike this one (this even has the caf routed down the grille!):

so, longer caf, but louder? how come?

.. don't think so, that sounds like intake noise, being viewed from the front. but anyway, i'm expecting opinions on the caf routing and so
silicon elbow-does it worth 70 quid or just leave the system as it is?

removed the CAF 30 mins ago and not only it sounds immense :D but it also felt to pick up better, in the setup above the CAF ends in the curved metal plate behind the headlight, which I think added a restriction to the air flow. I'm gonna sort out some panels to direct the air from the grille soon enough though

thx! planning to bin the bonnet sound proof and throw some thin heatshield to protect the paint. will do another movie with no caf although I think the main difference is how it sounds from inside the car. will see though ;)
