Few of us talking in pub tonight about this & am confused
Even when fitting one to a 172/182 with NO other mods at all, so long as you had a good cold air feed to it why would you lose low down torque (thats what everyone was saying)
Even if you had no better feed than OEM setup, surely the fact it's supposedly heat protected in the airbox would mean colder air into engine ie marginally better than OEM
Surely if nothing else they'd be better in summer than OEM, just from a heat soak point of view ?
