BMC or K&N Air Filter

Thinking of replacing the standard air filter with either a BMC or K&N panel air filter. I have a 1.2 16V Dynamique. Not too bothered if I get increase in power or not, just looking not to lose any power but get a nice sound.

Ruled out ITG as they don't seem to do them for 1.2 (or at least I cannot find one) and ruled out Pipercross as its a foam one so will be a bugger to clean.

Which would be a better investment out of the BMC or K&N?

k&n, lovely noise!

if your only getting the panel filter get the pipercross one, as they are foam & breath better than the cotton 1's. its more or less the same as the itg 1 m8. if you want noise though go for the k&n cone jobby.
