Booked the cup in for the steering wheel!

I took my cup into the dealers to get the rubber grip replaced on the wheel as it was splitting and they are changing the whole wheel under warranty, which is lucky as it would have cost me £280! They said the airbag is transferrable, just hope they connect it up properly!

Has anyone else had this problem with the steering wheel?

What a stupid design! Surely they can have interchangable grips or something rather than replacing the whole wheel!

And it will prob take them 4 months to order it in!

stupid question but I take it there is a catch to take off the sterring wheel? How easy is it to get a steering wheel off?

ive got my clio booked in tomorrow for the steering wheel as it squeeks!! Really started to annoy me now

On your model Kenny disconnect the battery, take off the 2 small bolts that hold in the airbag, take that out and disconnect, then take out the big bolt.
