Boot MGR missing :-(

  GW RS200
I have Vista installed on a two disc raid 0 and a further Sata disk aswell. Tonight, I unplugged the third disk to test out a new hard drive, turned the system on and as soon as the new drive span up turned off the system. Plugged everything back as normal to original config and now get a boot mgr error. Grrrr. Tried both the Vista install DVD repair and roll back options; neither works. Looks like it's reordered the alphebetical drive order. Anyone got any top tips before I go through an arduous reinstall tomorrow morning? :) Thanks!

Have you tried disconnecting the disk that isn't part of the RAID0 set and booting the machine again?
And is it a hardware RAID controller you're using, or are you using Windows' built in software RAID functionality?

Yeah, I'll try without the extra disk again. It's RAID built in to the motherboard. Never regretted anything as much as RAID tbh, it's not even noticeably faster then my identical setup next door, and just causes me pain whenever possible!

  Better than yours. C*nt.
That's unusual then, as RAID is significantly faster on most chipsets except for shite ones... Although nothing comes close to my 9690SA...
