Boot - RT the same as the 16v?

Basically I have a smooth boot that I was originally going to put onto my Mk1 Phase1 RT...however, i'm now looking to buy a 16v and wanted to know if this would still fit as I know the rear panels on a 16v are wider and so I didn't know if the lines would still match if that makes any sense?

If someone knows would be great!
