Stories. Thats all they are. pm Sir_Dave on here and he knows EVERYTHING about e36 BMW's.

Nothing to worry about.

Around 280bhp, 5.5s to 60mph.

The Evo model is 320bhp and 5.2s ish.

No bad. It just looks dull! E30 looked mint. The E36 looked Bland, E46 redeemed itself. E92 is bland too; but has the performance to merit the M badge...

Hummm.

Yeah I have to admit, I really don't like the shape or looks of the E36 in general. I think it's got lost now, and doesn't even look in decent enough shape to be considered a classic, like the E30. You usually see the E36's driving around and looking really tatty, too. You can certainly spot a rare good one, mind, and credit to them for that, they do look in great condition if you manage to find one.

Agreed. Seen an imola red Evo 2 on Detailing world, it was perfection. sub 5k miles i think too!

thats what happens when you put them in the wrong hands
mine went from this

what a fantastic car that was and i personally prefer the rawness of that car over my current m3. no electronics taking over the driving experience.

^^shagged.

people need to respect cars like these. have to say the silver one is mint. have had the pleasure of driving one of these, 1st and 2nd dont feel special, but nail it in 3rd and 4th and your flying!

What the bump?

Thought you'd got another one for a moment.

Shame if it's dead :(

Thats because the M3 Evo is electronically limited in the 1st two gears, although not many people know that ... even less people know how to remove it ;)

Would be interested to know this ;-) ..PM me thanks

Really like the e36 M3, the red one in the DW thread is awesome

My dad offered me his for £1k when i moved out, as he never uses it and its just a shed

Pointless though, cant afford to run it and i would be dead within a week
