Boss kit wont fit.

Recently bought a boss kit from demon tweeks and it said it would fit my car.

Tried to fit it on and it was having none of it. I have had a look at images and videos and it seems i have ended up buying a mk2 ph1 boss kit. Is their anyway i can get this to fit or even modify this to fit.

Ill upload an image as soon as possible to make it easier to understand what in talking about

I've got a ph1 boss on my Trophy, fitted a treat.

I believe there to be differences between the variants as I know the lower model bosses will not fit on the RS's.

You can 'make' it fit.


It's too deep and needs filing.

Ill post up a picture of it later on. To show my problem. If i can make it fit then that will be great and i wont have wasted £60. Cant post it back as i have had it for too long.

It was really getting the wires through and theirs a metal bit that sticks out the back of it. Which from images i have seen its meant for a ph1 and not a ph2. Also unsure on the differences between a boss for a sport and a non sport.

Can probably tell i have never done this before, completely new to changing steering wheel in fact. But any help or comments are appreciated

Don't quote me but I'm pretty sure that's a lower model boss, I can't see any filing making that one fit.

Lower model as in non sport? As its a 1.2 16v ph2 im trying to fit it on to. (probably should have mentioned that at the start)

I was thinking if i get rid of that bit that sticks out the back of it. it will fit on and be flush. Not to sure how to get the wires through though.
