Bottom ball joint replaced and now wheel moves

Replaced my bottom ball joint and now with the steering wheel slightly to the left and stopping the car the whole wheel jerks back and knocks.

What have I knocked out of place???

Need this fixed urgently.

Sounds like something isnt tight/has not been seated properly before re tightening.

^this, or you got the wrong balljoints. there are 2? versions with different hole diameters.

sounds like you used the wrong ones. 10mm holes and bolts on the non sport balljoints, 12mm on the sport

I shall check and let you know as I've got a second one in my boot. Would this cause the movement?

it's possible, especially if you didn't get them tight enough

Thanks. Checked and they had actually given me a 12mm one after me specifically saying "if there is 2 options then it's the 10mm one"

Moral of this story...don't go to euro car parts!

Thanks for the help as I've got the replacement in, had my tracking done for the 4th time in 2 days and it's perfect!
