Bought A 197

Just thought i'd introduce myself. I'm Kris from sunny blackpool. Just bought an Ultra Red Clio 197 yesterday and am picking it up on sat

Think i got a pretty good deal. It is an 06 plate with 5k on the clock. Has the cornering Xenons, Cabasse stereo with 6 cd, climate control, cruise, rear tints, tyre monitor!! electric folding mirrors and a lifetime warranty. Not bad i think for 11995.

Does anyone know of any nice mods for the car? Nothing to OTT.

Cheers guys, can't wait to pick it up! The guy said as long as i service the car with renault, after the 3 years warranty ends and i have the service book fully stamped up they will continue to put a warranty on the car every year i am in ownership of the car. Can't argue with that.

Saw some H&R springs for about £150, are these the ones to go for? Also has there been any group buys etc?

By the way, the car has the key where you can open the door if the key is in your pocket and you can start the car without it. Is this an optional extra? Pretty good how you can lock it without the key card too.

the card key is a standed option on the 197s its an opitional extra on normal clios my dynamique will have one

Can't wait to get her!! Just had an email from K-Tec and they are about to do a remap!! Interesting. Think i'll stick to the springs first but am interested in finding out what gains it would bring.
