Bouncers new Qd

Mmmm, this stuff blew me! Big thanks to Alex at Elite for giving me the opertunity to try it out. The diesel hasn't been touched in about a month, so she had a good wash with btbm, then I ran out of light.

This morning I got the qd out, it's quite gloopy, spreads flipping amazingly without smearing, leaves it super slick (quite horny it was ) and the finish? Well, just stunning! It leaves protection too, win win. so I have reserved my bottle!

Well done Jay, another fantastic product!


On another note, I've been trying out a few Frost Care care products. These guys are relatively new but their products are quite something. I'm very taken with the glass cleaner, wheel cleaner, decon & tyre dressing!

I change my preference for quick detailers as often as the seasons. Z6, AF finale, prima slick, megs ultimate

But something that feels slick and is nice to use is always a winner. Keen to try this, but then I haven't used a chemical guys QD yet and there's plenty of them

In what way? Most will add there own gloss enhancers giving that just waxes look, or alter the water behaviour temporarily

It does have solvents so there can be issues but I haven't personally seen any. I try and use carnauba based QDs when topping or finishing fancy waxes. These days I try not to wipe down any waxes unless with a sealant like reload or C2V3.

Nick mentioned to me that Jay's QD is like a thicker speedwipe. My understanding is it has more body to it. Not just easy like Z6. Body brings gloss and a little protection.

Quick Detailer was made for quick washes from what I've read so I use it after the weekly wash to get the 'just waxed' look.

However I use AF Finale as the final stage after a full detail as it seems to make the metallic flake 'pop' more than the waxes I use do.
