Braided lines

Oh well, it looks like I'm actually going to have to upgrade something on the Trophy.

For the first time ever yesterday I had a bit of a moment at Oulton where he brakes decided they didn't want to play ball. As usual they were fade free and amazing all day but on one occasion I was going into the hairpin and the pedal just went rock hard and the brakes wouldn't bite anymore.

On the way home Jeremy pointed out something was hanging from the underside of my car. It looks like the brake line had expanded enough to pop it out of the retaining clips. lol

Has anyone else had that happen with lots of very heavy braking?

*awaits Fred* :approve:

I can't remember anyone being behind me, I was more concerned about the fact I couldn't stop and was riding the top of the bank trying to keep it on the tarmac. lol Could have been me.

I've had braided lines fitted. Never had a problem but only done airfield days so far. Braided lines seem to me to be sensible choice for track use. Not expensive either.
