Brake conversion (TCE > 197)

  E30 318iS x2
Just wondering what I should consider when doing a brake tansfer. Found some 197 calipers and carriers.

I am having a wild moment and just thinking about it, prob wont do it cuz of £££ time etc but as good knowledge for me help would be appricieted.

I am curious whether the standard clio servo (if different to the 197 one???) would be able to create enough pressure to make the slightly larger brembos function properly and if different how can this be uprated?

Would having the larger brakes on the front mean the standard rears would be affected (although not certain they do much any way tbh)?

What are the dimensions of the discs on the 197?

Will think of some more questions soon.

heya matey. just so u no that the actual brake pedal is different on the tce's than it is the 197's, so if u were to do a caliper change u'd need to change not only the master cylinder but u will also need to change the whole pedal assembly behind the dash if that makes sense. i found a endless brake kit that will fit straight onto ours though for about 3 k but we would need to put at least 18's on to get the calipers to fit lol.
