Brake Fluid Reservior Cap Leaking?

I noticed that the brake fluid reservior cap had an oily substance, i.e. brake fluid all over it so i gave it a quick wipe clean the other day, just checked it again today and its back to the same as before.

Does this mean there is too much brake fluid in the reservior or is it a faulty cap?

It also seems to have dripped down a bit onto other plastic parts in the engine bay leaving them all dirty aswell.

Also my power steering pump is leaking out power steering fluid at the point where it joins the aux belt and looks to be spraying up onto the bonnett and down to parts below it. Not continuoes spray but enough to notice marks after cleaning the bonnett and it has reappeared.

Would this be a faulty seal or would it need a new power steering pump?

Cheers guys

All 3 of the Clios Ive owned has had this problem. Its because the level sensor on the cap swivels on a round plastic bit which isnt 100% sealed. Its nothing to worry about unless its really excessive.

Cheers for the reply mate. That clears that up then.

Anyone know about with Power steering pump?

Mine is doing this, is a replacement cap worth doing or leave as is? Not a major leak but thought I'd check!!
