Brake Issue, Help Needed

Car  mk3 golf gti
hi peeps, under braking, the pedal sometimes judders (not abs judder) it only does it once, like a clunking, the brakes feel fine, and it only seems to do it slowing down, if you slam on it doesnt do it. does it both in gear and coasting.

any ideas people?

Is it consistent or is it randomn? If its randomn, I'd put money on it being a broken ABS ring.

Obviously check the calipers and sliders are tight and free moving aswell.

Mine is consistant, everything is fine as I did a pad and disc change two monts ago and cleaned and regreased the sliders.

had it in the garage today and it's not the brakes, its the off side drive shaft is slightly worn. nothing major at the min.

they took all the brakes apart in the process and only charged me half an hour's labour! bargain!
